Generative artificial intelligence in health students: Narrative review

This narrative review aims to synthesize relevant information about artificial intelligence, its origins and its applications in university teaching, with special emphasis on the field of health. Its potential is highlighted as a tool that strengthens the teaching and learning processes, providing support to both teachers and students in academic, clinical, research and innovation tasks. Likewise, the need to establish ethical frameworks that guide its responsible use is highlighted, preserving critical thinking and clinical reasoning, fundamental pillars in professional practice.
