Applications and challenges of artificial intelligence in law teaching: a study and training guidelines at the Universidad Veracruzana

This work is a descriptive cross-sectional research with a quantitative approach, it was carried out from a survey applied to 100 academics with the objective of describing the use that professors of the Faculty of Law of the University of Veracruzana of the tools of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their teaching practice and from this, find training needs, the question was: What is the use that professors of the Faculty of Law of the University of Veracruzana of the tools of Artificial Intelligence in their teaching practice and what are their training needs? The results and their discussion show that AI tools have penetrated the academic community studied for use in classes, a significant majority reports knowing them and having used them. However, their use is at a basic level and training needs are oriented towards the specialized use of AI in law.
